Risk assessment
A risk assessment must be available for all production-specific activities of the employees.

Safety equipment
Before starting work, inform yourself about the security facilities available and instruct your employees.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following.
- Fire extinguisher
- First aid facilities (e. g. , first aid kit, location of paramedics, etc. )
- Alarm signals and their meaning
- Escape and rescue routes
- Assembly point

Report any potential accident hazards you notice immediately to your supervisor, team lead, production management.

Working tools
All work equipment, machines, tools, electrical equipment, ladders, steps as well as industrial trucks and vehicles must comply with the applicable legal requirements. Regulations and have an appropriate marking.
Evidence (e. g. test reports) must be provided on request.
Note the following points:
- Personnel must be instructed, qualified if necessary, prior to use,
- Visual inspection before commissioning
- Report defects & secure against further use

Connection of mobile electrical equipment (concerning AV technology)
The handover of electrical connections (e. g. house connection, aggregate, etc. ) as well as the installation, operation shall be carried out exclusively in accordance with the measures of the SQP4 by qualified personnel. Connections are to be protected with RCDs if possible. If it is not clear in the plant, construction site or outdoor area whether an RCD fuse is present, an intermediate RCD plug (e. g. P-RCDS, construction power distributor, etc. ) must be used.

Instruction / Briefing
Employees are instructed in production-specific hazards and measures as well as safety equipment (e. g. escape routes, first aid, fire extinguishers, etc. ). Please note that this production-specific instruction does not replace the regular, in-house instruction and must be documented in written form!

Commitment to coordination
Simultaneous cooperation several companies + mutual hazards = coordination of work

When working with subcontractors, the person responsible for the subcontractor must be instructed in the risks and measures, who in turn instructs his employees accordingly.

The organizer instates occupational safety coordination for certain work areas.

Behavior in case of an accident
If you witness an accident, follow these steps:
1. Your own safety comes first!
2. Secure accident site
3. Emergency call on 112
- Where did the incident happen?
- What happened?
- What injury?
- How many people are affected?
- Who is reporting the incident?
- Wait for further questions!

Behavior in case of fire
In any case, avoid endangering yourself!
- Evacuate to a safe place
- Take vulnerable people with you
-(Close windows and doors if possible)
- Follow marked escape routes
- Follow the instructions of fire protection marshals
- If possible, attempt to extinguish
- Meet at the assembly point

First responder/fire protection assistant
You are responsible for ensuring that an adequate number of employees are qualified as first responders and fire protection assistants and their on-site presence.

Personal protective equipment (PPE)
Employees must be provided with the personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary for their work and instructed in its use.

Production-specific requirements for PPE
During the entire assembly/disassembly phase, warning vests must always be worn in areas where industrial trucks such as lifting platforms, forklifts, wheel loaders are used or where motor vehicle or truck traffic is to be expected.

Safety shoes with toe and heel caps and puncture-resistant soles must be worn during activities with a risk of injury to the feet. This concerns areas of loading/unloading, assembly and disassembly work.

Evidence of qualification
All employees must be qualified in accordance with their activities and be professionally and personally suitable for the work to be performed.
The qualification certificates are to be held by the responsible contact person on site.

Working hours and resting times
Insufficient resting periods and/or working hours beyond the permitted limitation increase the health and accident risks for employees. The obligations outlined in the Working Hours Act (ArbZG) must therefore be applied accordingly.

Working with the risk of falling, at height, on different levels
When working where there is a risk of falling, working at height and working at different levels, there is an increased risk from

- falling and
- falling objects.

The risk must be assessed by means of a risk assessment, and appropriate measures, e. g. wearing PPE, attaching nets, using restraint systems, etc. , must be defined and implemented.
In any case, the deeper hazard area must be secured. e. g. by cordoning off the area or providing personnel security. Provide concept for height rescue if required.

Authorization for operating trucks / "driving authorization"
All employees who operate industrial trucks or drive vehicles in the course of their work must have the necessary qualifications and be instructed.
When driving industrial trucks, a "driving authorization" according to. DGUV Vorschrift 68 §7 (Flurförderzeuge) or the Industrial Safety Regulation must be prepared and presented if required.

Driving on site
Vehicular traffic on the premises shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations. Generally, you must drive at walking speed (max. 15 km/h) and - as far as technically possible - with the hazard warning lights on.

Use of open fire - Hot work
Work involving fire hazards is only possible with an appropriate permit.
Hot work includes, for example, welding work, cutting work, soldering work, cutting-off work, any work with open fire or flying sparks.
The aforementioned work must be notified in advance to the production management and can only be executed after express written approval in the form of the permit.

Thunderstorm and lightning
When working outdoors or in the vicinity of outdoor platforms and in containers, a safe place must be sought out immediately in the event of a storm. Appropriate locations and collection points are determined by the production management and passed on to the contact persons of the contractors.

Sun and heat protection
In high temperatures as well as strong sunlight, there is a risk of overheating, sunburn and heat stroke when working outdoors. To minimize these risks, measures such as appropriate clothing, headgear, use of skin protection (sunscreen), sufficient water consumption, and breaks in the shade should be taken. When working indoors with high heat generation, sufficient beverages must also be provided.

Working near water
There is an increased risk of drowning when working near water. This can exist even at low water levels, for example, if the person falls and loses consciousness. For this reason, increased attention is required when working on the water and even short-term work alone should be avoided.
